Adrienne Barbeau

The original Scream Queen, Adrienne Barbeau is truly an icon in the genre film world. She made her popular debut alongside Bea Arthur on the TV show MAUDE, and continued to cite Arthur as her acting mentor throughout her career. Following her Tony-nominated portrayal of Rizzo on Broadway’s original production of GREASE, Barbeau continued to gain fame from sexy roles on made-for-television thrillers and was eventually attached to several early films by John Carpenter (her then husband), such as THE FOG, ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK, and THE THING.

Barbeau was featured in cult films like SWAMP THING and CREEPSHOW and even voiced Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, on Paul Dini and Bruce Timm’s celebrated BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES. Recently she has become a guest star staple for shows like GENERAL HOSPITAL, SONS OF ANARCHY, and CRIMINAL MINDS. She is also heavily involved in voice acting for the video game industry.
