A performer of many talents, Barbie Wilde is known not only for her appearances in horror films such as HELLBOUND: HELLRAISER II (as the Female Cenobite), but also for television hosting stints, music, cabaret, and writing short horror stories and novels.
Wilde, who was born in New York but moved to London for show business, is a classically trained robotic mime who has performed in Bangkok, Bollywood, and all over New York. She also co-founded the miming music troupe SHOCK, who pioneered new wave styles in the 80s. She has created several music and variety shows for television and interviewed music legends like Iggy Pop, Roger Taylor, and Johnny Rotten.
In addition to HELLRAISER II, her film appearances include JANBAAZ, DEATH WISH 3, and GRIZZLY II: THE CONCERT. Her most recent literary work is THE VENUS COMPLEX, published by Comet Press.
