Like his DAWN OF THE DEAD co-star David Emge, Scott H. Reiniger was a student of theater before any film work came his way. Both actors lived in New York and even worked at the same restaurant before being cast in George A. Romero’s masterpiece. Reiniger also landed a role in Romero’s follow-up, the little-seen but star-studded KNIGHTRIDERS.
Reiniger appears often in Romero, horror, and zombie-related documentaries. He eventually founded a life and career coaching program in Los Angeles. Zack Snyder’s much-lauded DAWN OF THE DEAD remake features Reiniger in a cameo!
